  • When is the Heathens & Heartbreakers event?

    JUNE 24-26, 2027

  • Where is Heathens & Heartbreakers taking place?

    FAIRMONT HOTEL DALLAS

    1717 N Akard St, Dallas, TX, 75201

  • Is there a hotel room block for attendees?

    A small room-block for attending readers will be available July 31st, 2026

    It will be first come, first serve.

    Make sure you are part of the Facebook group so you don’t miss out.

  • Can I ship books home?

    Yes.

    UPS is conveniently located inside The Fairmont Hotel.

    You can ship all your newly bought book stock home to avoid plane weight limits and increased flight fees.

    We recommend packing pre-printed labels if you plan to ship. 

    Please double check your shipping labels to ensure your items arrive to the proper address. 

  • Is Parking Available?

    Yes.

    Valet and self-parking are available at The Fairmont Hotel.

    Valet Parking $50 a day plus taxes

    Self Parking $25 a day plus taxes

  • Is the venue ADA compliant?

    The Fairmont and Heathens & Heartbreakers are both fully ADA-compliant

    Elevators, escalators, wide aisles, and accessible restrooms.

  • Will there be a quiet Room &/or break space?

    A designated quiet room is available. 

    We understand events are loud and can become overwhelming so we encourage everyone to take breaks as needed.  

    There are multiple hotel lounge areas including a serene pool area where you can rest and reset.

  • Is storage available?

    We do not pay for storage but have a list of companies we recommend for you to ship and store your materials with if needed.

  • What is the age policy?

    18+ to attend the book signing.

    Valid government-issued ID will be required at check-in for your ticket verification.

  • Health & Safety protocols?

    We follow current CDC & hotel health guidelines.

    If you are sick with the Flu, Covid, Respiratory Infection or Pneumonia within 14 days of the event please notify us so we can take measures to protect the immunocompromised and other attending. 

    Masks are welcome, not required

    Cough & sneeze into your elbow to limit the spread of germs. 

    Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the venue. Please utilize them.  

  • I travel with my family will this be an issue?

    No.

    We encourage everyone to bring their family and make it a vacation.

    There is so much to do and see in Dallas they won’t be bored sitting in the hotel while you attend the event.

  • Will I be denied access if I am running late to the event?

    NO.

    You may enter any time after your ticket tier’s designated start time.

  • What is allowed?

    Book Carts: Yes! Max size 18x18, please consider carts with tops for seating while in line.

    Backpacks & Purses: Allowed, subject to security check.

  • What is prohibited?

  • Are there ticket limits?

    5 tickets per person allowed per purchase.

  • When and where can I buy my Heathens & Heartbreakers tickets?

    Tickets are available for purchase on Eventbrite.


    Links and details are posted on our Instagram and Facebook accounts.

    Create your Eventbrite and PayPal accounts early to streamline the buying process.

    Ticket name must match your valid ID.

  • What are the ticket tiers?

    Heartbreaker: $300plus fees & taxes

    2 Days VIP early access + ball access + panels + Heartbreaker VIP bespoke swag bag

    Villain VIP: $250plus fees & taxes

    2 Days VIP early access + panels + small GA bespoke swag bag

    Anti-Hero: $200 plus fees & taxes

    2 Days General Admission + panels + small GA bespoke swag bag

    Hero: $100‍ plus fees & taxes

    1 day only General admission you choose Friday or Saturday.

    All panels are first come first serve. When they are full, they are full.

  • Refunds or transfers?

    No refunds will be issued.

    We will have an official Facebook resale + transfer thread.

    We will also help facilitate the process.

  • Cash or Card?

    Payment methods are up to each author and vendor.


    Most will accept both but check with them, and on their socials in advance to be sure!

    Preorders are strongly encouraged to cut down on any potential payment issues.

  • Are there book signing limits?

    The official event limit is no more than 3 items (books included) brought from home per author. 

    However… 

    Individual signing limits are at each author’s discretion. Follow them on social media and reach out for questions and answers before packing for the event.

  • Line ticketing/ queue system?

    Details will be released at a later date. This will be done with ample time to learn the system and work out issues.

    HOWEVER…

    Each ticket/bracelet given will only be able to be used once. Once your ticket/bracelet has been used you will be unable to see that author again unless their line becomes open.

    Please note: There are no guarantees a ticket/bracelet will get you in to see that author but you will be given one so you have the opportunity to do so.

  • May I take photos?

    YES!

    We want to experience your experience with you and the best way to do this is to see your pictures and videos. Take as many as you can and tag us in them all!

  • The Midsummer Night's Dream Ball?

    WHAT IS ALLOWED?

    You are the main character of the night. Dress for the occasion.

    Black Tie Costumes encouraged (It’s a fantasy ball after all)

    IS DRESSING UP REQUIRED?

    Costumes and props are optional but highly encouraged. Who doesn’t love fantasy gowns, dark glam, fae royalty, or just something sparkly. It’s all a vibe. Embrace it!

  • Can I attend Heathens & Heartbreakers event @ 16/ 17 with parental consent?

    Yes.

    Ask us for the events official consent form to have your parent & or legal guardian to sign granting you permission to attend.  

    Government issued I.D. will be required for age verification. No exceptions. No refunds.

  • What is prohibited at the ball?

    No outside alcohol, food or drinks. 

    No weapons of any kind

    No loose glitter

    No confetti

    No loose powder

    No bubbles

    No face? No problem, masks are magical.

  • Can I purchase a ball ticket separately?

    Yes.

    A limited number of Add-On Ball tickets will be available on Eventbrite.

    Each add-on ball ticket is $200.00 plus tax and fees each

  • Will I get to see every attending with my ticket purchase?

    It’s possible but not likely.

    There is no event guarantee you will get to see every attending.

    We suggest making a list of your top ten and getting into their lines first.

  • When will the room-block be available to readers?

    July 31st, 2026 the roomblock will be available to all readers.

    Our roomblock rate is $169.00 a night for a standard room plus tax & fees.

  • Am I allowed to wear a costume, mask or helmet?

    Absolutely dress up! Embrace the magic and romance of the weekend.

    However…

    Full face coverings are allowed but only with hotel and event staff approval.

    This means you will have to be unmasked and show photo I.D. to both us and the hotel.

    This can be done in private. This is for your safety and ours.

    Half masks that show the top of your face are encouraged over full mask.

  • Which date do I choose on Eventbrite?

    THURSDAY JUNE 24, 2027.

    However any day is fine. Only the ticket tier chosen matters.

    You only need to buy ONE ticket not multiple to get the additional days of signing.

    2 Day Signing tickets no matter what day you picked on Eventbrite are:

    Heartbreaker: VIP + Ball + Heartbreaker bespoke swag bag.

    Villain: VIP signing only + bespoke GA swag bag

    Antihero : GA signing only + bespoke GA swag bag

  • So many days to choose from on the Eventbrite, help!

    It does not matter which day you choose.

    Only the ticket tier purchased is important.

    2 Day Signing tickets no matter what day you picked on Eventbrite are:

    Heartbreaker:2 Day VIP + Ball + Heartbreaker bespoke swag bag.

    Villain:2 Day VIP signing only + bespoke GA swag bag

    Antihero : 2 Day GA signing only + bespoke GA swag bag

    1 day signing where you must choose the day you attend:

    HERO: ONLY ONE DAY GA signing. You choose Friday or Saturday on the HERO tier only.

  • Do I have to buy a ticket to each day to get the 2 Day signing?

    NO!

    DO NOT buy tickets for every day listed!

    The additional days added were an EVENTBRITE GLITCH. This happened because we added the Villain VIP right before tickets went live.

    YOU ONLY HAVE TO BUY ONE TICKET TO ONE TIER TO GAIN THE FULL ACCESS LISTED FOR THAT TIER.

    I.e. Purchasing ONE Heartbreaker ticket on the Saturday tab will still gain you the same access to both Friday & Saturday VIP + Ball. You do not have to buy a ticket for Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

    2 Day Signing tickets no matter what day you picked on Eventbrite are:

    Heartbreaker: 2 DAY VIP + Ball + Heartbreaker bespoke swag bag.

    Villain: 2 DAY VIP signing only + bespoke GA swag bag

  • Villain Tier wasn't available when tickets went live and I purchased mine. Can I upgrade or downgrade my ticket tier?

  • I bought my Heartbreaker, Villain &/or Antihero ticket for Thursday, Friday or Saturday only do I still get 2 day VIP &/or 2 day GA signing access?

    YES.

    The day you chose on Eventbrite to buy your ticket does not change the amount of signing days your ticket tier is allocated.

    2-Day tickets no matter the day you purchased them under include both Friday & Saturday signing.

  • What day should I arrive in Dallas, Texas for the event?

    Early Registration begins Thursday June 24, 2027 @ 3 P.M.

    If you are staying at the Venue hotel check-in for the hotel is available @3 P.M.

  • Why do I have to email about upgrades, refunds, and any other big issues when I messaged one of the social media accounts?

    Social media managers, content strategist and our Event Liaisons are the ones who are speaking to you behind the social media.

    They are not owners, or financial managers. They can answer most of your questions &/or concerns about the event but will direct you elsewhere when it is not within their purview.

    They do not make large scale decisions for the event.

    Please do not lash out at any of those who politely respond to let you know your questions and concerns have been seen and then direct you to the ones capable of assisting you further.
